Community Referee Course
The SBA is offering a Community Referee training course. This course is for those who are considered ‘senior “referees in the SBA system. This is an important qualification/ refresher and update for all A Grade and Secondary School referees and players .

The recruitment, development and retention of basketball referees and table officials is vital for the game of basketball at all levels.
Referees and officials are a crucial part of our sport. Quite simply, without officials, there is no game! We welcome any new referees and officials – whether you’re wanting to give back to your community, keep fit and active or simply learn more about the game. We will work to develop your skills at all levels of the game is a supportive and encouraging way.
Courses are offered throughout the year and dates of those will be posted on this page.
